Operations Analyst III
OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
Provide Computer Operations Support to projects including covering day to day operations, shift work in role of supervisor, providing assistance to QA and CAT, provide procedures, checklists and other documentation.
May supervise a team of computer operations staff or computer operations support staff and direct the training of new entrants.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with* local Operations Manager, Project DTL, and customer staff as appropriate during projects.
Provide support to QA and CAT phases of projects.
Provide Computer Operations documentation and checklists.
Responsible for continuous trouble free operation of computer systems.
Ensure adherence to prescribed schedules and operating policies and procedures.
Make recommendations regarding improved operating systems, tools, and procedures.
Provide 24 hour front line operations support by pager.
Investigate incidents in the production environment, develop incident reports and other follow up items to the customer base.
Perform operations training as required.
Request software changes and alert management of software changes to be made.
Domestic and International Travel required (upto 50%)
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in IS preferred
In Lieu of Degree 10 years of related experience
